CDC AIDS Public Information Data Set. This data set contains counts of AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) cases reported to CDC by state and local health departments. Case counts can be retrieved by demographics, case-definition, date of diagnosis, date of report, HIV exposure group (risk factors), and mortality.

HIV/AIDS surveillance report U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services, Centers for Disease Control, Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention. This is a semi-annual publication. Tables and charts include: AIDS cases and annual rates by state, and metropolitan area with 500,000 or more population, by age group, exposure category, sex, and race/ethnicity. AIDS deaths by half-year of diagnosis and age group.

HIV/AIDS Surveillance - Data Base, MAP and Country Profiles.
The Database is "a compilation of information from those studies appearing in the medical and scientific literature, presented at international conferences, and appearing in the press." Monitoring the AIDS Pandemic (MAP) is a "collegial network of internationally recognized technical experts seeking to assess the status and trends of the global HIV/AIDS pandemic." The Country Profiles "examine the patterns and trends of the epidemic using the best of the imperfect data available." Available from the US Census Bureau.

HIV/AIDS Surveillance in Europe. This report is published half-yearly by the European Centre for the Epidemiological Monitoring of AIDS. Numerous tables are presented with country-by-country data, including age at diagnosis, diagnosis by risk category, total cases, deaths by country and year, and HIV testing data.
