NOTE: Access limited to UCB faculty, staff and students.

Provides access to the citations of the more than 2 million titles in Dissertation Abstracts, from 1861 to the present. Citations for dissertations published from 1980 forward also include 350-word abstracts written by the author. Citations for master's theses from 1988 forward include 150-word abstracts. The first 24 pages of titles published since 1997 are freely available in PDF format. The complete text of dissertations can be purchased from this site, or may be obtainable using Interlibrary Borrowing Service.

UCB-UCSF Joint Medical Program Thesis Index

Provides access to citations of Joint Medical Program theses filed after 1985. Index is browseable in alphabetical order by author or is searchable by author, title, subject, and date. Abstracts and full text of theses are not available through this index. Information on locating specific theses is provided.
