BIOSIS Previews
Coverage includes botany, zoology and microbiology, as well as related fields such as biomedicine, agriculture, pharmacology and ecology. Interdiscplinary fields such as medicine, biochemistry, and biotechnology are also included, as well as instrumentation and methods. Indexes articles, books, and meeting abstracts, papers and posters.

Black Studies Database
Indexes journals, magazines, newspapers, newsletters, pamphlets and reports relevant to the Black experience and the African Diaspora. Covers events critical to the study of Black life and culture outside of Africa including notable figures and topics in Black history, culture, and sports, as well as significant movements and events.

Business Source Complete
Provides full text for scholarly business journals and other sources in nearly every area of business including marketing, management, economics, finance, accounting, international business, and more. Also includes financial data, books, major reference works, conference proceedings, case studies, investment research reports, industry reports, market research reports, country reports, company profiles, SWOT analyses, and more.

CAB Abstracts
This international database provides access to journal articles, conference proceedings, reports, and books on all aspects of sustainable development and applied life sciences, with emphasis on agriculture, forestry, human health, and the management of natural resources, and with particular attention to the needs of developing countries.

Chicano Database
All types of materials in the areas of Mexican-American and on other Latino cultures: Puerto Ricans, Cuban Americans, and Central American immigrants. Subject coverage includes art, language, sociology, public policy, economics, history, literature, politics, and law.

GenderWatch is a full text database of publications that focus on the impact of gender across a broad spectrum of subject areas. Includes magazines, academic journals, newspapers, newsletters, books, pamphlets, conference proceedings, and government reports.

NLM's bibliographic database of citations and abstracts from biomedical journals published in the United States and worldwide. Primary database for public health and other health and medical subjects.

Citations from journals in psychology and related disciplines, conference proceedings, books and book chapters, reports and dissertations.

Sociological Abstracts
Literature in sociology; covers demography, education, law, social psychology, and sociology. Sources include journals, books, conferences and meetings, and dissertations.

Web of Science
Includes Science Citation Index Expanded (1900 to present), Social Sciences Citation Index (1900 to present), and Arts and Humanities Citation Index (1975 to present). Each of these large, multidisciplinary databases is searchable alone, or in combination. Links to cited articles and times cited are provided for retrieved articles.

Example: Pharmaceutical Substances, a complete reference guide to every pharmaceutical compound of significance. Includes: Chemical structure, graphical representation of synthetic route including intermediates, nomenclature, ATC codes, medical applications/therapeutic category, and more.

Food/Nutrition Resources
Example: What We Eat in America: The dietary intake interview component of the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). All data descriptions and data are available for download.

Health Care Planning, Organization, and Evaluation Resources
Example: RAND Health: Surveys and Tools: Practical surveys and tools, organized by topics, including Health Economics, MCAH, and more. Complete data download available.

Statistical/Data Resources
Example: California Health Interview Survey: the largest state health survey in the United States, it is a telephone survey conducted every two years on public health topics and access to health care. The web site contains the questionnaires, data files, and AskCHIS, an online data query system.
