PrePrints, ePrints & Working Papers: what are they and where do you find them?
Preprints are manuscripts that may have been reviewed and accepted for publication; or may be in the process of being circulated for comment prior to publication. Preprints generated and circulated in electronic form are known as "e-prints".
This is a selected list of preprints, e-prints or working papers in astronomy, astrophysics, chemistry, nonlinear science, physics and more.

For off-campus access UC Berkeley faculty, registered students, and staff use the Proxy Server or the VPN.

ADS: Astrophysics Data System.
The SAO/NASA Astrophysics Data System (ADS) is a Digital Library portal, operated by the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO) under a NASA grant. ADS maintains three bibliographic databases: Astronomy and Astrophysics, Physics, and arXiv e-prints.
APS - American Physical Society -
Use APS is now providing content using RSS Feeds. ( - [hosted and maintained at Cornell University Library]
an e-print service covering physics, astrophysics, mathematics, non-linear science, computer science, and quantitative biology. arXiv is owned, operated and funded by Cornell University Library and partially funded by the National Science Foundation. Use the E-Print Alert Service to automatically receive the latest information posted on arXiv and other related databases. > astro-ph  [Astrophysics]
