Renewals are for the same period of time as the original charge, and may be made by telephone for material that are not on Reserve or is not needed by another borrower. You may also renew library items online from any Library Computer via GLADIS. Some items are not renewable in this way, such as 2-hour Reserve items. For more information type "help renew" at the GLADIS prompt.  The Library reserves the right to limit the number of times an item may be renewed.

All overdue material is subject to a replacement charge. An overdue notice will be sent prior to a replacement bill, but failure to receive an overdue notice does not exempt the borrower from a replacement charge.

Library Fine Policy:

  • If a 2-hour/Reserve item is returned overdue but before a replacement bill is sent, the fine starts at $10 up to $50 maximum.
  • If an item has been recalled and is not returned before replacement billing, the maximum fine of $50 will be levied.
  • If an item which circulates for 2 hours, same day or 1 day, reaches replacement billing, the fine will be the maximum fine of $50.
  • There is an after hours book return located at the southwest entrance of Old Minor Hall, under the breezeway.
