Getting Started
with EndNote 9

The UC Berkeley Libraries provide access to thousands of electronic journals in all subject areas. The California Digital Library (CDL) has licensed most of these journals for the entire UC system, but some are licensed by the UCB Library or the Fong Optometry & Health Sciences Library. To perform a comprehensive search for an electronic journal at UCB, use the links below.

Many electronic journals provided by the UC Berkeley Library are limited to UC or UCB students, faculty and staff or to computers in the UC Berkeley campus network. This is due to our license agreements with the vendors that provide these journals. If you're not on the Berkeley campus or using the Berkeley campus modem pool, you need to use the Library's proxy service in order to be able to access these journals.

Conditions of Use

To find a link to a specific journal article, use the UCeLinks Single Citation Finder.

Search by exact title, keyword or broad categories for CDL and Berkeley-licensed electronic journals using the UCB Electronic Journals Finder.

The UC elinks button is the link to access full text from article indexes.  If there is no direct link to an article be sure to check the Melvyl Catalog as the library may have electronic access.  (NOTE:  UCeLinks is available in PubMed ONLY when you use the UC Berkeley URL:  http://uclibs.org/PID/17708.

Melvyl
Melvyl is the catalog for all UC libraries.  It is the most comprehensive resource for locating journals in all disciplines, whether online or in print. You can search for the journal title by keyword or exact beginning of title.
