Staff

The Fong Optometry & Health Sciences Library, located in 490 Minor Hall, is one of the science branches of the Library of the University of California at Berkeley. The library supports the faculty, students, staff, research laboratories, and clinics of the University of California School of Optometry. Its staff and services also provide support for the varied and interdisciplinary information needs of the students, faculty and staff of the UCB-UCSF Joint Medical Program . The health sciences collection is part of the Optometry Library collection.

The Fong Optometry & Health Sciences Library has a large, circulating collection of slides and videos. For more information, contact library staff at (510) 642-1020 or fax (510) 643-8600.

Research assistance and reference services are generally available 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. If you need assistance outside these hours, telephone ahead.

Monday - Thursday	8 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Friday	8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday	1 - 5 p.m. **
Sunday	1 - 5 p.m. **
Weekend access ONLY** through the southeast entrance of the building. Summer session, intersession and holiday hours vary and are posted in the library, on GLADIS and on the UCB Library's Web page.

Other libraries' hours

The Fong Optometry and Health Sciences Library provides laptop Internet services. AirBears
enables you to connect to the campus network if you have a laptop equipped with a wireless Ethernet card. The library also provides connections for LIPS, the Laptop IP Service.
