American Dental Association Chicago, IL

Manager, Electronic Communications
* Web management: Manage all aspects of ADA ONLINE, the American Dental Association's Internet site (http://www.ada.org), including editorial content, design, navigation, and organization.
* Development: Expand member and consumer services and implement new technologies with support of IT staff and consultants.
* Leadership: Coordinate work of Web manager, electronic media editor, and programming and design consultants.
* Initiative: Spearheaded efforts to expand consumer audience through a searchable dentist directory and ADA Seal product database.
* Teamwork: Work with staff throughout the ADA to develop content.
* Site design: Design and encode Web pages using HTML. Currently leading site redesign and reorganization project.
* Technical skills: Thorough knowledge of HTML and Microsoft FrontPage; familiarity with Adobe Photoshop; practical use of JavaScript.
* Notable achievements: Built ADA ONLINE to 6,000+ files and expanded traffic to more than 2.5 million hits per month. Chosen Employee of the Quarter and earned promotion, July 1996.
