Major System Enhancements/GLADIS:
Upgrade the base functionality of the system. Examples: automated reserves, CJK
display. Request through your AUL.
Reports, Printouts, Extracts, and Statistics/GLADIS:
Produce a report or a subset of the GLADIS database. Examples: provide
printouts of GLADIS records to support planning and maintenance needs;
statistics on content of GLADIS; extracts of the GLADIS MARC database. Request

Programming to Meet Special Needs/GLADIS:

ALERT! Individual Library email
accounts have been switched over to CalMail.
Library Human Resources will
notify the Library Systems Office when a new employee is hired, and a new
email account must be created.
NOTE: Go to the CalMail Knowledge Base to create a "Vacation" message.
Email Reflectors/Lists - Simultaneous group emailing.
Library reflectors and email lists are handled via CalMail. List email addresses follow the naming convention: listname@lists.berkeley.edu. List owners will maintain lists via calmail.berkeley.edu. New lists will also be created via calmail.berkeley.edu - you will no longer need to contact the Library Help Desk. See the Email List Policy.
The Library email lists page at www.lib.berkeley.edu/UCBonly/e_indx.html will continue to be updated. Please notify webman when a list is created, deleted, or a list owner changes.
FTP - Upload files to the Library Web, upload files to your work-related personal webspace, download files from the Library Web to a staff computer. Tutorials. Contact webman for assistance.
