The LAUC Statewide Membership is Cordially Invited
I am very pleased to extend a special invitation to the statewide membership. This Assembly promises to be an engaging and interesting event, with programs that examine and discuss the wide-ranging initiatives underway in the University Libraries. We are very fortunate to host the System Wide Operations and Planning Group (SOPAG), together with both of LAUC's representatives to SOPAG for the duration of its history. This program will be followed by a panel of distinguished faculty members, who serve on the Academic Senate's Systemwide University of Committee on Library, and the campus senate library committees at UC Irvine and UC Berkeley.

In recognition of the strong and growing links between LAUC and the California Digital Library, the Executive Board is most pleased to join me in extending a special invitation to the staff of the California Digital Library to attend this event.

The Faculty and Library Administration is Cordially Invited
In recognition of the collegial relationship between LAUC, the faculty, and the library administrations of each campus, the Executive Board is additionally pleased to join me in extending a general invitation to the faculty and members of campus library administrations to attend the Fall 2004 Assembly.
