LAUC-B Public Service Task Force
Purpose
In June of 1998 the LAUC-B Executive Committee established
a Public Service Task Force. The goal of the Task Force is to faciliate
a library-wide discussion intended to create a vision statement and recommendations
for optimal public services throughout the library system. The Task Force
will design a series of events that will help us all to consider how to
best offer public service on our campus now and in the 21st century and
how we can move ourselves concretely toward that new vision.
The Task Force membership includes representatives from standing
library committees, a representative from the Affiliated Libraries, a liaison
to the Academic Senate Library committee and three student representatives.
