To use My ILL Requests, you must be at a campus computer connected to the Internet through the UC Berkeley network, or connected off campus via proxy server or the Virtual Private Network (see Connecting from Off Campus for more information).
To Log in to My ILL Requests:
1. Enter your Cal ID or Library Card number.

3. Choose your home campus from the pull down menu and click the Login button.
To obtain a PIN or if you have forgotten your PIN,
you must first go to the My OskiCat login screen and click the link: Forgot
your
UCB faculty, staff
and students: a message
will be sent to the email address in your CalNet
Directory listing.
Library cardholders: a message will be sent to the email address you used when
you signed up for your Library card.
The message will
contain a link that allows you to re-set the PIN.
A PIN must have an eight character minimum, with
both alpha (A-Z) and numeric (0-9) characters. Symbols (!,$,#,&,
etc.) and spaces are not allowed.
Once you have logged-in to My ILL Requests, your Requests will appear on the screen. After 15 minutes of inactivity, your session will automatically end. You will need to login again to use My ILL Requests.
Note: To view newly placed or completed requests, you
must check the Show everything box.
My ILL Requests automatically displays 10 items per page. You can use the pull down menu next to the Records per Page label to change the number of items. The options are 5, 10, 15, or 20 records per page.
You can change the order of the
display by choosing the Sort by pull down menu. You can sort by ILL number, author, title, or
due date. To sort by oldest request first, choose the

Cancelled |
Request No
Longer Required. The potential supplier has acknowledged the
cancellation request, and the request has been cancelled. |

Cancel-Pending |
Request No
Longer Required. The patron has initiated cancellation of the
ILL transaction. |

Completed:
Pending |
User has successfully terminated the request. |
|
Conditional |
The lending library has asked Berkeley Interlibrary Services
for additional information about the request. As a patron, you do not need to
take action on a conditional request. |

Lost |
The item has been reported lost. |
|
New |
The request has not yet been routed to a lending library. |
|
Not-Received/Overdue |
The lending library has sent an overdue notice for an item
that has not yet been received by Berkeley Interlibrary Services. Berkeley
Interlibrary Services will investigate the missing item. |

Overdue |
Berkeley Interlibrary Services has been notified that the
item is overdue. |
|
Pending |
The request has been routed to a lending library, but has
not yet been filled. . |
|
Recall |
The item has been recalled by the lending library. |
|
Received |
The item has been received at Berkeley Interlibrary
Services. |
|
Renew/Pending |
Berkeley Interlibrary Services has asked the lending library
to renew the item. |
|
Returned |
The item has been shipped back to the lending library. |
|
Shipped |
The lending library has shipped the item to Berkeley
Interlibrary Services. |
Click on the Cancel link (at the right side of the screen) to stop your ILL transaction.
Note, this link will only appear if the item can be cancelled, for example, it will not appear if the item has been shipped to your library. If you want to cancel an item and the link does not appear, contact Berkeley Interlibrary Services at (510) 642-7365.
If the material has been supplied by another UC library, it may be eligible for renewal. Usually, material loaned by a non-UC library cannot be renewed.
Please submit renewal requests at least 5 working days from the current due date.
To request a renewal
Click on Renew to send a message to Berkeley Interlibrary Services asking to renew the material.
Berkeley Interlibrary Services will contact the lender to see if the material can be renewed. If the renewal is granted, you will notice that the due date is changed in MY ILL Requests. Renewals can take up to five days to be granted. If the request to renew is not granted you will receive an e-mail from your home campus.
