comprehensive
from

Updated
weekly.
CSA
is
a
web-based
search
system
that
creates
a
uniform
environment
for
databases,
including
Avery.

- SAVE -

checkbox

mark
any

you

keep. You
can
save
records
from
more
than
one
result.

would

Changing
Databases |
- In
the
Basic
Search
screen
-
click
on
change: Subject
Area or
click
on: Specific
Databases
|
FIND
your
article
at
UCB
- with
search
results
displayed,
click
on to
search
Melvyl
for
the
journal
or
to
reach
the
full
text
of
the
article. Click
on "Details/Locations" to
get
the
call
number
for
the
journal. |

Bibliographic
Management
Software use
either
Refworks
or
Endnote. |
- Use
the
link
located
at
the
top
of
the
results
page..
- Select
your
citations
and
click
on
the
icon,
Refworks
will
open
up
and
download
your
citations
into
your
folder.
- OR
- Open
Refworks,
Log
in
to
your
account. Click
on
'import'
-
see
preferences
above.
- Make
sure
that
the
correct
provider
is
in
the
'import
filter/data
source'
box.

- Select
the
filter,
make
sure
the
correct
database
(Avery)
is
displayed,
and
select
an
import
folder.
- Under "import
data
from" use
browse
to
find
your
saved
.txt
file.
- Click
on "import" you
should
see
results
under
the
'view
last
imported'
button.
- EndNote™:
E-mailed
or
downloaded
records
may
be
imported directly into
EndNote.
Some
processing
is
required.
- Save
your
citations
in
.txt
format.
- Choose
Import
from
EndNote's
File
menu,
choose "CSA
Avery" filter,
and
select
No
translation.
- How
to
save
and
import
records
from
the
Indexes
into
Endnote
and
Refworks.

of
