Instruction and Tours

There are several ways to learn about the Library and is vast digital, print and media resources. Take a tour by yourself or with a class. Drop-in for one of our scheduled drop-in tutorials. Request a Librarian for a course-specific instruction session. Sit down with a reference librarian to receive personal guidance for your research. Watch or read one of the Library's online tutorials. Request or study the Library Course Guide in your class bSpace site or course website.

Tours

Faculty may schedule class tours and individuals may schedule private tours of the EDP Library by contacting a librarian.

Drop-in tutorials for Spring semester on the use of RefWorks, Zotero and Endnote citation management software are indicated below. Patrons are welcome to consult with reference staff at other times throughout the year.

Faculty may schedule an in-class instruction session with one of the librarians. Sessions can be customized to cover specific databases, research techniques, and topics.

Library Course Guides for bSpace

Faculty may request a customized Library Course Guide for posting on bSpace sites or course websites. Contact a librarian liaison for assistance.

Online Tutorials

View one or several online tutorials to gain skills in the use of catalogs (OskiCat, Melvyl), databases (PsycInfo, ERIC), citation management software (RefWorks, Endnote), and other library tools. See Tutorials.
