Large format scanning and printing services

The Library offers large format scanning and printing services for cartographic materials (e.g., maps). Our HP Designjet T1100 MFP is capable of scanning maps with a maximum dimension of 42 inches. Maps are scanned at 400dpi and delivered via the web as high quality JPEG or TIFF files. Copies can also be printed or delivered via USB drive or DVD for additional cost.

The Earth Sciences and Map Library handles orders for UC Berkeley students, faculty, and staff. Interlibrary Services (ILS) handles all other orders. Large format printing of non-cartographic materials (e.g., architectural plans, posters, technical drawings) is available at the Moffitt Copy Center and other local copy shops.
