READ ME FIRST

This CD-ROM contains digital images of Official Maps of Alquist-Priolo Earthquake Fault Zones that affect the Northern and Eastern Region and includes coverage for Alpine, Butte, Humboldt, Inyo, Lassen, Mendocino, Modoc, Mono, Shasta, and Siskiyou
counties,. The digital images in this CD-ROM have been archived in Portable Document Files (.pdf) format and are optimized for viewing using Adobe Acrobat (Registered Trademark) Reader, version 4.0.
  
Acrobat Reader 4.0 MUST BE INSTALLED to proceed with viewing the files on this CD-ROM.

An Acrobat Reader 4.0 installation program is provided on this CD-ROM for viewing images of Alquist-Priolo Earthquake Fault Zone maps.  If you are running an earlier version of Acrobat Reader, it is recommended that you uninstall it before running version 4.0. To activate Acrobat Reader 4.0 installation, click the 'install Acrobat' button on the start window for your platform (Windows, Mac, Unix), then follow the prompts throughout the install process.

A digital version of Special Publication 42, Fault-Rupture Hazard Zones in California is contained in this CD-ROM.  Also included are tables of affected cities and counties.
