Description: Votive inscription concerning dedication of an image of Amitabha by the devotee Wan Tao-an, on behalf of the ruler and his own parents and spiritual teachers, at Hsiang-t'ang-shan (south), Ho-pei, during the Wan-sui-t'ung-t'ien era (696-97).

Title: Wu-shih shih shih hua hsiang tso shih shih ti ssu shih

Description: Pictorial relief from the rear wall of the Left Chamber of the Wu Family Shrines, Chia-hsiang, Shan-tung. Here, the right portion of the wall, three registers of relief depicting a group of four figures, one of them prone on the ground and evidently being attacked by another of the group; Ching K'o's attempted assassination of Ch'in Shih-huang-ti (r. 246-210 B.C.), then King of Ch'in; below that, Fu Hsi and Nii wa.

Description: Pictorial relief from the rear wall of the shrine of Wu Jung (d. 168) at the Wu Family Shrines, Chia-hsiang, Shan-tung. Here, the cornerstone of a niche in the wall, three registers of relief depicting Ching K'o's attempted assassination of Ch'in Shih-huang-ti (r. 221-210 B.C.)

Title: Wu-shih shih shih Wu Liang tz'u hua hsiang (san)

Description: Pictorial relief from the shrine of Wu Liang (78-151) at the Wu Family Shrines, Chia-hsiang, Shan-tung. Here, the west wall, four registers of relief topped by a gable depicting the Queen Mother of the West; ancient sovereigns; filial sons; loyal assassin-retainers; and a procession of chariots and mounted riders.

Description: The taoist scripture #Kuan-sheng-ti-chun chueh shih chen ching#. This rubbing taken from a later engraving of 1876 executed at the request of Chang Wei-feng and written in the calligraphy of Chang Mu-san (after a 1796 manuscript copy in the calligraphy of Wang Yung).

Description: Pictorial relief. Eight views of the Kuan-chung region (modern Shaan-hsi), with accompanying verse, by Chu Chi-i; with a colophon by Chou Wang-pao. The engraving of the verse and landscapes was commissioned and put in place by Chao Shih and Chin Wen-yü.
