Circulation DeskThe Circulation Desk is where you charge out and return books (notice the book return slot in lower right corner). It is also the location of reserve materials, and where to go for help with circulation problems. (e.g. overdue books, etc.) Loan policy for the Bioscience and Natural Resources Library. All borrowers must have a valid UC Berkeley photo ID card or a current library card issued by the Privileges Desk in the Doe Library. The circulation page has a table of loan periods for various types of materials After-hours Book Return There is a return chute outside the building (on the South side, center 1st floor accessible entrance) for use when the library is closed. Holds/Searches If material cannot be found in the stacks, ask for assistance at the Circulation or Reference Desks. Material charged out to another patron can be recalled and held for you. Circulation staff can conduct a search for items which you have been consistently unable to locate. You will be notified of the results. Materials stored at NRLF Any library's materials stored at the Northern Regional Library Facility (NRLF) can be requested at the circulation desk. NRLF materials can also be requested through the Pathfinder catalog interface. |
