Use a library catalog to find books, journals, magazines, government reports, maps, and other materials owned by the UCB libraries. Library catalogs do not index the individual articles within magazines and journals.

Finding Articles

Search article databases to find journal, magazine, and newspaper articles. These databases index articles published in selected journals and magazines, papers presented at conferences, and other sources. Most records include citations and abstracts with links to the full text of articles (when available). To access the full text, use the UC-eLinks button.

PUBMED
The National Library of Medicine's premier bibliographic database, indexing articles from more than 4500 journals in biology and biomedicine.

Expanded Academic ASAP
Contains records for articles from popular magazines, newspapers, general interest journals, scholarly journals in the humanities, social sciences, and general sciences. The complete text of articles (including some full-text images) is available for many of the 3,500 journals covered in the database, 2,100 of which are peer-reviewed.
