Room 2189 Valley Life Sciences Building is the Bioscience and Natural Resources Library Training Room. Reservation priority is given to Library instruction sessions that focus on subject areas of the Division of Biology and the College of Natural Resources. Other UCB Library and Division of Biology / College of Natural Resources groups may request use of the room for LIbrary- or University-related workshops, conferences and other events after Bioscience Library instructional needs are met. Room 2189 is not available for regular class scheduling.
Each Fall Semester, Welcome Week orientation consists of a brief tour of the Bioscience Library and an introduction to our collections, library services and resources.
Tours meet at the Circulation Desk at the entrance to the library, 2101 Valley Life Sciences Building.
Sign-ups are not necessary.
Group tours may occur at other times during the academic year as well, and will be announced on this page and on the Events and Workshops calendar [Science Libraries @ UC Berkeley].
