Ask a Reference Question

We offer e-mail reference service for UC Berkeley faculty, students and staff to ask questions relating to the bioscience and natural resources literature or about the collections and facilities of the Marian Koshland Bioscience and Natural Resources Library.

For more complex, subject-oriented research questions, you are welcome to come to the Reference Desk. Our reference hours are generally 10-5 Monday-Friday, and 1-5 on Saturday. We have shorter hours between semesters and on holiday breaks. Please check the Library's Hours Page or call in advance to confirm our hours for a specific day (642-0456). Unfortunately, we are not able to respond to non-UCB requests.
