New books and journals are displayed for one week so that all patrons can have an opportunity to review them. You may place a hold on the books during that week so that they will be available as soon as possible for you.
New acquisition lists are posted at the end of each month, listing the titles received by the library over the past 30 days. We retain the monthly listing of new acquisitions for at least 6 months, so that patrons may see what titles have been received in the recent past.
While the majority of the titles on this list have a recent publication date, anything that has been cataloged in the past month can appear on the list. Thus, the list reflects not only the most recently received materials, but also any materials that have been recently cataloged.
Any of the books on the list can be checked out, with the exception of works from the Reference, Medical Core, or Locked Case 1 locations, which are non-circulating. Library users may want to refer to GLADIS to see if the items they would like to borrow are available, or if they are already checked out.
