How to Export OskiCat Records to Citation Managers
REFWORKS* INSTRUCTIONS
Exporting OskiCat records to RefWorks:
- In the OskiCat search results screen, click the boxes beside the
titles you wish to save
- Click Save Selected Records, or Save All to save all records on a page
- Click View Saved to see your list of saved records
- Click Export Saved
- Click EndNote/RefWorks
- In the Send List To column, select Screen, then click Submit
- Select and copy all text on the page
Importing OskiCat records into RefWorks:
- In RefWorks, log in and select References, then
Import from the drop-down menu
- For the Import Filter/Data Source, select Innovative Interfaces
(EndNote/RefWorks Format) from the drop-down menu; For the Database,
select University of California Berkeley (OskiCat) from the drop-down
menu
- Click Import Data from the following Text button (just above the empty text box), then paste your copied text into the box and click Import
- Click View Last Imported Folder to view or edit records

Important Notice: All users from off-campus who are not using the UCB Proxy Server or VPN must log-in to RefWorks with a UC Berkeley Group Code (Requires CalNet ID authentication).
ENDNOTE** INSTRUCTIONS
Exporting OskiCat records to EndNote:
- In the OskiCat search results screen, click the boxes beside the
titles you wish to save
- Click Save Selected Records, or Save All to save all records on a page
- Click View Saved to see your list of saved records
- Click Export Saved
- Click EndNote/RefWorks
- In the Send List To column, select Local Disk, then click Submit
- You will be automatically prompted to save or open a file named export.txt
- Save file
Importing OskiCat records to EndNote:
- In EndNote, import the .txt file using the import filter University of California-Berkeley Library Catalog (download from http://www.endnote.com/support/enfilters.asp).
NOTE: To more easily locate the filter, sort by Information Provider, then click on Re-sort Files (results are in alphabetical order).
